Focus on Education: Paul Mengert, AMG CEO
Paul Mengert is very highly regarded as the founder and current CEO of Association Management Group. AMG is a management company that functions as a shorter version of a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program. The classes in the program are taught by Harvard Business School alumni, who happen to live in the Greensboro, North Carolina area, where Paul was born and raised and where he located AMG's offices. A great many of the instructors for these classes are executives with various companies, serving as managing partners, presidents, and even CEOs.
One reason he started AMG is because Paul Mengert believes that it is important to give back to the community, whether you do it personally or through business activity or a little of both. He has become a highly regarded leader in the homeowners’ association management industry, primarily in the Carolinas, but also nationwide. He likes to teach the principles in homeowners’ associations how to be more effective because it makes everyone better.
Under Paul Mengert, Association Management Group also participates in activities designed to make the community better, such as a food drive for Greensboro Urban Ministry, which collected more than 1 million pounds of food for the poor in The Carolinas, primarily in Greensboro.

- Paul Mengert, as President of Association Management Group, has seen volunteers be the difference in happy communities. If you are a member of a community association and you care about the value of your home or property, then you ought to want to take good care of it and the surroundings. Associations are charged with maintaining the value of the properties involved, so it makes sense that you as a member might be interested in helping them as well.
