As AMG’s CEO, Paul Mengert Educates HOA Personnel
When Paul Mengert founded Association Management Group (AMG) in 1984 in Greensboro, North Carolina, he did so as a way to give back. AMG serves as a touchstone to the city where he was born and raised, and Paul will never hesitate to demonstrate love and appreciation for his community. His strong belief in giving back is evident in every move he and his company makes. For example, over time, dozens of local Greensboro companies have sent executives to the Management Development Program at the Harvard Business School Alumni Association of Charlotte, North Carolina. He teaches classes for them, and he feels like that is a boon for the local community.
It can be said that Paul Mengert’s life has been in service to his community, beginning with his education. He majored in Political Science and Communications at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro many years ago, and proceeded to devote much of his life and career to education and training. The companies which have made use of his services include prominent organizations like Microsoft and Pfizer, in addition to AMG. Paul Mengert has also served on the national senior faculty for the Community Associations Institute for years, and the homeowner's association classes he teaches are continuing education credits, accepted by groups as diverse as the North Carolina Board of Realtors, the South Carolina Department of Real Estate, and many others.

- Paul Mengert, as President of Association Management Group, has seen volunteers be the difference in happy communities. If you are a member of a community association and you care about the value of your home or property, then you ought to want to take good care of it and the surroundings. Associations are charged with maintaining the value of the properties involved, so it makes sense that you as a member might be interested in helping them as well.
